WHAT IS KARSAFE?

KARSAFE is a device that establishes perfect communication between the truck driver and the handler on the loading dock

Thanks to trailer detection, it prevents the handler from falling if there is no trailer at the dock.

Thanks to the door opening detection, it provides the driver with precise and guaranteed information on the obligation to remain at the platform or the authorization to leave the platform.
KARSAFE solves 3 problems:
The risk of falling from the dock in the absence of a trailer
The risk of head crushing when backing the trailer into the loading bay
Lack of reliable communication with the driver
Fundamental advantages of KARSAFE:
Automatic trailer / truck detection
The handler is informed that the trailer is at the dock
Authorization to open the door is only given if a trailer is at the dock
As soon as the door is opened, the outside light turns RED
When the handler closes the door, the external light automatically turns GREEN (unless he has activated the RED light hold function)
But also :

The system incorporates a door sensor self-test, independent of the door itself. It runs before each opening to ensure that if the door is open, the external light is indeed RED.

The trailer sensor is also checked at the end of each cycle.
